Even before that subsided Rajedh Manduri, a writer, has been alleging that Acharya story belongs to him and he has been giving interviews to various TV channels. He said he has been in the industry for 18 years. He informed that he belongs to Prakasham district and Addanki constituency MLA Gottipati Ravi alias Bujji is very close to him.

He said he narrated his story with the title 'Peddayana' to the MLA and the MLA told him that he knew Mythri Movie Makers and provided him the opportunity to narrate the story to them. Rajesh claimed that he went to narrate the story to Yalamanchali Ravi and Cherry and Ravi after listening for 20 minutes left while Cherry heard till the first half and had a break.

Rajesh told that later they listened to the remaining story and liked it but told him that since the story has high scope and should be taken with a top star, they cannot invest believing a new comer and so would like Koratala Shiva to direct the story and asked him to give his story to them. He said he sought some time from them before taking a decision.

He said however with in few months Chiranjeevi's Acharya started under Koratala Siva's direction. He came to know that Acharya story resembles his story and when he asked the co director, he confirmed the same. He said then he went to the MLA and when asked, he didnot give any reply and stopped talking to him.

When he narrated the same to Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, he asked him to complain with the Writers Association. Ravi said with Koratala asking how can he claim Acharya story belongs to him without knowing the full story, they too couldn't do anything.

He said he tried to meet Kortala but he didnot show interest. But when Mythri Makers asked the story, he met his mentor B Gopal and he at that time told that if he doesn't do it, he would do it with Balakrishna. He said Acharya was meant for Balakrishna with a budget of Rs 100crs.

Koratala Siva however rubbished all the allegations and lost cool with Rajesh claiming that Acharya story belongs to him. He said Rajesh can take his film in a grand manner as Acharya's story is completely different and he doesn't know Rajesh's story. He also added that it is childish on part of Rajesh to claim Acharya's story belongs to him without really knowing the full story. He said none of his co directors told Rajesh that Acharya story has similarities with Rajesh's story.

Koratala questioned whether he is in a position not to pay the writer and acquire the story. He warned that if Rajesh talks about Srimanthudu copy allegations, he would sue him with a defamation case as there was no controversy over the story. He said he gave credit to his friend Srihari Nanu taking Bharat Ane Nenu plot. He warned if Rajesh persists with his allegations, he would go to court and Rajesh also said he is ready to go to jail.
