It seems India's opposition parties are playing spoilsport in agitating for the deferment of JEE Mains and NEET examinations which are scheduled in the month of September. Literally, they are playing with students' lives.

The exams have already been postponed twice and the students have been taking so much pain with prolonged preparation for the said exams.

On the other hand, NTR, which is set to conduct the exams, has framed strict guidelines ensuring social distancing. It must be recalled that the death rate of COVID is 2% and it is confined less than 1% among students with other ailments apart from the coronavirus. It must also be recalled the percentage of road accidents is a lot more than the COVID deaths.

Moreover, admit cards have been downloaded by more than 99% students to take the JEE Mains and NEET.

In this framework leaders like Rahul Gandhi turned childish with their tweets. "NEET-JEE aspirants are worried about their health & future. They have genuine concerns of; fear of Covid19 infection, transport & lodging during pandemic, flood-mayhem in Assam & Bihar.GOI must listen to all stakeholders & find an acceptable solution. #AntiStudentModiGovt," Rahul tweeted.

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood unnecessarily fingered the issue without having sufficient knowledge. "This is not an examination only for students. It’s an examination for the Government too. Govt. has an opportunity to excel by postponing #JEE_NEET for 60 days. Make it happen and bring those smiles back. Students & Govt. can prepare in this time window. #PostponeJEE_NEET," Sonu tweeted.

Meanwhile, 150 eminent professors from esteemed universities such as IIT - Delhi, IGNOU, BHU wrote a letter to the PM Modi seeking the conduct of the examinations without any deferments.
