RRR No Exception, No Question Of OTT Release!

When will theaters re-open? Will audience come to theaters to watch movies if permission is given for theaters re-opening? Firstly, there’s no clarity on theaters opening. And, movie buffs may not show interest to watch films until vaccine for Coronavirus is found.

Even if theaters management takes utmost care following all the guidelines like avoiding direct selling of tickets, gap between seats, switching off ac’s etc. people may not dare to go watch films.

Some opine that, SS Rajamouli’s RRR is exception for this as people will throng to theaters whenever the film hit the screens. But, they are absolutely wrong. The pandemic has completely changed the approach of people who feel that nothing is important than their life.

In fact, filmmakers have also made their minds that, things will come to normalcy only after vaccine is found. Rajamouli is also in waiting mode, so is his producer DVV Danayya and actors NTR and Ram Charan. Moreover, the cast and crew of the film is not keen to resume the shooting for now.

There were reports that, Rajamouli is planning own OTT platform and he is planning to release the film in the platform. But, there’s no truth in this as well. First of all, Rajamouli is completely against OTT system. Secondly, RRR is the film to be watched in big screens for real cinematic experience. The film is said to give more Goosebumps than Baahubali. Then, there’s no question of OTT release.
