Noted Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai on Wednesday, April 29. He was 53 and is survived by wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons. Irrfan has been suffering from cancer for quite sometime.
As his health deteriorated, Irrfan was rushed to the hospital on 28th of April and was kept in ICU. It's recalled his mother Saida Begam also passed away on 25th April due to accute health issues.
Having acted a couple TV serials Irrfan made his Bollywood's debut as an actor with Salaam Bombay releasd in 1988. Thereupon, he worked for more than 50 films which include Hollywood's super hit film Life of Pie.
Given his expertise and prowess as an actor, he was honoured with many awards at national level. Hitherto, he was given away the national film award and filmfare awards in four categories.
Irrfan's demise is an irrecoverable loss to the Bollywood. Cinejosh is grieved with his death and pays heartfelt condolences to the members of his family. May his soul rest in peace!
