Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Janasena, is planning a powerful return to the silver screen. However, all his plans got effected due to coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown.

Though Pawan is slated to make his comeback with Vakeel Saab, a remake of Bollywood hit PINK, all eyes are on his next, a period entertainer titled Viroopaksha under the direction of Krish.

The film has the Moghul backdrop and revolves around Kohinoor diamond. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a thief, akin to Robinhood who rob the rich and help the poor.

Rumors are spreading that there will be powerful political dialogues relating to current politics in the storyline. There will be an episode on Thuglak and the dialogues will have satires on the current AP politics.

But the question is will Power Star take that risk of adding political flavor in his films. This because Krish's previous films, a biopic on NTR, Kathanayakudu, and Mahanayakudu landed in a political storm. Many attacked him for not highlighting the backstabbing which happened in Sr NTR's life. The pro TDP bhajan portraying NTR as God and Chandra Babu and others as all saints did not go down well the movie lovers.

However, with Viroopaksha being a fictional story, he may not face the problem. But any direct or indirect reference to the current political situation in AP will adversely affect the film's release in Andhra Pradesh where Pawan has a huge following and locking horns with the ruling party will result in an increase in tempers.
