Chiru's Great Help To Mahesh Babu

Star director Koratala Siva penned a cameo role for megastar Chiranjeevi in his 152nd film titled Acharya. However, Charan who is co-producing the film told Koratala to look for other option. Then, the director suggested superstar Mahesh Babu's name for which Chiru gave his go ahead nod.

Koratala Siva made changes to the character and narrated to his good friend Mahesh Babu who initially accepted to be part of the project. However, due to some reasons, he opted out of the project. While some say, Mahesh Babu was forced by his fans to walk out of the film, remuneration is said to be the real reason.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi did great help to Mahesh Babu. He confessed that they never did approach Mahesh Babu for the film. "Mahesh Babu wasn't considered for the film. He is like my son. Most probably, Charan will be doing the role. We'll divulge more details soon," said Charan.

This statement was actually meant to save Mahesh Babu from criticism. As is known, Mahesh Babu has been criticised ever since the news of he opting out of the film broke.
