Vijay’s Shocking Punishment To Tej

Megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew and Supreme Hero Sai Tej's brother Panjaa Vaishnav Tej is making his debut in Tollywood with Uppena under the direction of newcomer Buchchi Babu.

While Vaishnav Tej is starring as a fisherman named Aashi in the film, Krithi Shetty, a Bengaluru model who starred in Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 is making her debut in Tollywood. She is playing the role of Sanjana in the film while Vijay Setupathi is playing the role of Rayanam.

According to a leaked story, Aashi a poor fisherman falls in love with a rich girl Sanjana. Her father does not approve of their love, but hero and heroine elope to lead a happy love life elsewhere.

However, the heroine's father finds out their whereabouts and thrashes the hero, brings back his daughter and locks her in his house. As his daughter unable to forget her lover, the father gives the hero a never seen before shocking punishment. What happens next forms crux of the story.

This kind of stories appeals to Tamil movie lovers. But it is difficult to win the hearts of Tollywood movie lovers with such storylines. That was the reason why some films despite getting good reviews failed at the box office. It has to be seen whether Uppena rides on the success crest or crashes through the failure trough.
