The YSRCP government, in a desperate attempt to make its mark reached to the people, let all the government offices and panchayat buildings painted in green, white and blue colours which are the same colours of the party's flag.

However, the high court, earlier, ordered the government to repaint those colours with other paints so as not to convey wrong feelers to the people that the paints indicate the party's flag.

The government should have been enlightened with the high court's verdict. In lieu of it, the YCP filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the high court's ruling is squashed.

However, the apex court gave a big blow to the YCP government on Monday. The court sarcastically questioned the YCP's petitioner, "Will you accept if all the union government's offices are painted in saffron colours?"

Now that the apex court squashed the petition of the YSRCP, the party should inevitably change the colours of government offices.
