The Australian, New Zealand and Fiji governments have ordered all cinemas in the countries to close, as an additional measure against the spread of the deadly coronavirus. The measure could remain in place for several months.

Due to Government restrictions in relation to the occupation of indoor venues as a response to the public health risks associated with Coronavirus for both customers and staff, several cinema chains in the aforementioned countries have announced all the Theaters will temporarily close from today, 23 March 2020.

While some say the Theaters closure will be till the end of May, some others opine cinemas will remain shut down for 6 months. This will definitely impact Tollywood, Bollywood and other language films to release in next couple of months.

Telugu cinema market is enlarging in Aus and NZ. Few top hero films have done exceptional business in recent times, providing extra profits to producers. Now, it is a big loss for local and Indian market with Theaters in these countries to be shut down for next few months.
