The Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi appealed the nation to observe 'Janatha Curfew' voluntarily from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday, 22nd of March. In the wake of the spreading of Coronavirus pandemic, the PM addressed the nation on Thursday night. Following are the excerpts of his speech.

* Even world war 2 was not that severe as the impact of ghastly Coronavirus on the world countries.

* Janatha Curfew shall be observed by every citizen from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday, March 22.   

* 130 crores of Indians shouldn't be complacent and should fight relentlessly against the virus.

* As of now, no vaccine has been invented to prevent the dreadful disease.

* Global pandemic is not correct.

* Social distancing is the only solution.

* People should stay isolated with the best possible means. We should resolved exhibiting determination and containment is the only solution at the need of the hour. 

* If you feel discomfort and become sick, approach doctors at your immediate vicinity.

* A task force against COVID 19 will be established which is to be headed by finance ministry.

* This pandemic impacted immensely the middle, lower middle classes and poor sections.

* The doctors , nurses, hospital staff and others employed at hospitals have been discharging duties round the clock for the past one month. We must be grateful with their services.

* In a few days, we'll be celebrating Navaratri which is the festival of Shakthi. By that auspicious day, I wish, we would be rejuvenated.
