It is probably the saddest character I’ve played. Its rawness and reality made me more sensitive, kinder, and empathetic towards others. One gets a feeling that Ravi Babu decided to come up with the most violent film in Telugu after Nani's Hit3 drawing inspiration from films like Marco and Kill.</p><p>Except for the action sequences, everything turns monotonous and routine. The only saving grace is he included usage of technology in tracking the clues and merging of the videos to prove the sinster design of the criminals. Ravi Babu's screenplay and direction offered nothing new. While the first half though predictable is racy, the second half loses steam during the flashback episode.</p><p>The background score added value to the narration. It is thumping and helped in maintaining the intensity levels. The Cinematography is in sync with the story and the Narration. Editing is quite good except for few scenes in the second half. Dialogues are ok and production values are fine. <p>The comedy of Sivaji, Laya and Roshan didnot workout as the scenes lacked the strengh and the role of Prince turned out to be silly. <p>Reba Monica John played the role of the ACP.&nbsp; Her role is used just to take the story forward and she didn't get much scope to show her talent. She just passed through the motions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However once the mysterious deaths start happening screenplay is in place and the narration picks up pace. Following few cat and mouse games between the hero and the villain, the first half ends with interesting but predictable twist. The second half also continues in the similar manner and the film finally comes to an end bringing the much needed relief to the viewers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The screenplay is even and uni dimensional for majority of the part. Director tried to come with an investigative thriller, but the so called investigation turns out to be farce. Police are shown as puppets and ACP as a dimwit. Even the race between hero and the villain to go after each other donot excite anyone.</p>
<p>People are witness to such scenes since the olden days and those who expected something new will be completely disappointed. Director missed many logics in the narration and most of the scenes looked silly and even school kids will be laughing instead of getting excited.</p>
<p>Vidya Sagar Chinta's cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic manner. He used the lighting to perfection to show the night scenes in an interesting way. He used the colour combinations accordingly to show the variations in scenes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as usual came up with impactful performance. She showed the pain of the mother who is worried about her missing daughter. She expressed and emoted quite well on the screen and made a strong presence on the screen. She also did well as a caring nurse and also as a girl who falls in love. She tried to carry the film on her shoulders.</p>
<p>Prakash Raj as usual came up with subtle and powerful performance. He delivered dialogues in a hardhitting manner and with his screen presence elevated the scenes.Rao Ramesh is good in the role of a judge.&nbsp; Priyamani is fine in her role as the mother while Radhika Sarathkumar, Nassar and Jeeva played the powerful cameos taking the story forward. Others like Srikanth Iyengar, Mime Gopi, Hareesh Peradi, Raghu Babu, Getup Srinu, Venkat, Niveksha ,Pramila Rani performed according to their roles.</p>

<p>S.Saraswathi story is penned by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. Varalakshmi planned to touch the contemprary and the burning topic of atroticies on women and how justice is denied to them. She tried to add the medical disorder in order to add surprise element to the proceedings and the investigation process.</p>
<p>Initially at the start, this looked interesting but in her effort to thrill viewers taking them to the new heights, she overdid it and altogether in the end, it turned out to be a laughing stock. Except for the so called medical disorder, everything turned out to be routine and predictable. After the so called surprise elements, viewers can predict everything and this turned out to be the biggest backdrop.</p>
<p>While the story turned out to be routine and monotonous, even the narration and screenplay turned out to be repetitive making it a tedious watch to the viewers. The first half comes to an end with a predictable twist and when one expects a better second half, it turns out to be a disappointment.</p>
<p>With the surprise element coming out, Varalakshmi started beating around the bush and the preachy dialogues in the pre climax and climax didnot inspire any confidence. Finally, S.Saraswathi's good intentions got diluted due to Varalakshmi's over enthusiasm and the flat screenplay and direction.</p>
<p>Thaman's music and songs though situational acted as speedbrakers. His background music is in sync with the story. A.M. Edwin Sakay's cinematograhpy is good and showed the scenes in a realistic and believable manner.</p>

The narration starts on a predictable note and from then on the entire first half treads with routine and monotonous elements and few irritating stuff with over the top and silly dialogues from both the father and son. When the first half ends, viewers heave a sigh of relief , expecting a better second half.</p>
<p>The second half continues in the same vein with many illogical scenes. However couple of scenes in the run up to the pre climax and climax adds value and connect chords of some viewers. Finally the film ends in a predictable happy manner. Screenplay looked forced and the direction treaded in an aimless manner.</p>

While in the first half, he generated little humour, he managed to double it in the second half.</p>
<p>Maruthi Rao, as he decided to entertain, roped in top comedians and emerged successful to an extent. But most of the time, he tried to highlight Sree Vishnu and underutilised other top comedians. He generated fun with Sree Vishnu and Satya but the same cannot be said about other actors.</p>
<p>The first half sails off smoothly with hilarious scenes and it comes to an end with a decent interval block. But in the second half, he loses the plot and he turned routine and monotonous with his comedy scenes and these turned repetitive. The final half an hour turned out to be routine and missed the strong emotional connect robbing the viewers of the high intense feeling. Everything fell flat and the climax was rushed and predictable.</p>
<p>The music of Radhan failed to make an impression. None of the songs are appealing and made an impact much to the disappointment of all. The songs infact turned out to be the biggest drawback. Sai Sriram's cinematography is good and turned the film colorful. The editing of&nbsp; Karthikeyan Rohini is just ok. <p>The cop is introduced as a tough person and has unique investigation techniques but the investigation scenes offer nothing new. They cop is just turned out to be a mere caricature taking orders from the higherups. Finally when the final episodes end, viewers heave a sigh of relief.</p>
<p>The editing of GV. Chandra Sekhar looks unpolished. There are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. He tried to be smart to turn it decent but overall came up with a haphazard output. Sriram gave the background score for the plot. Sriram in his quest to elevate the scenes, came up with a loud score instead of adding finess to the narration. This inturn turned everything into over the top when it is not required. The cinematography of K.Mahesh Kumar is in sync with the story. He didnot try anything extraordinary and did what was required for the story sticking to the basics. <p>Bookie story revolves around a young couple who witness turbulence in their relationship and how they deal with them. Kailash (Ajay Dishan) and Aazhi (Dhanusha) suddenly experience their relationship hit the rock after few years and this lands them in a situation as to whether to continue with the relation or move forward parting ways.</p>

<p>Bookie story is penned by Puthiya Parthi and is helmed by Ganesh Chandra. He tried to entertain youngsters with a Gen Z story and used many Gen Z lingos to connect chords with them. But in the process he failed to realise that one cannot differentiate between Romance categorising it into Gen Z or Older generation.</p>
<p>He tried to highlight the purity in love in the older genderation compared to that of immoral values of gen z relationships but sperations and parting of ways have been prevalent in the society since longtime. The screenplay is linear and treads in a predictable fashion and in the end however failed to justify the reunison of the leadpair.</p>
<p>The film lacked the emotions and everything turns artificial as the director stayed away from the ground reality. He spent the entire first half on how the lead pair deal with the breakup and here he tried to impresses Gen Z with jargons like binge watching, stress shopping and stress eating. But he failed to live in the reality. Both the lead pair characters turned out to be artificial bereft of any emotions. Much to the disappointment of all, the so called interval bang fell flat.</p>
<p>He passed most of the time and the second half with flashbacks. Instead of increasing the interest levels, these turned out to be patient testers. Ganesh Chandra's writing turned out to be lazy and he thought it was casual and interesting. Sadly, he failed to understand the meaning and thought process of Gen Z and he confined himself to use it as jargons.</p>
<p>The music for the film is tuned by Vijay Antony. Though songs didnot make much impact, he added value to the narration with his background music. Ganesh Chandra himself handled the cinematography and he captured the visuals in an appealing and beautiful manner. The editing of Vijay Antony could have been far better as there are scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. Dialogues are ok. Production values are fine.</p>

<p>Suhas asusual did justice to his role. The role is tailormade for him and it has the blend of romance, youthful exuberance, humour and emotions associated with it. The story penned by Gopi Atchara offered nothing new and he came up with a mix of previous hits from various languages. At times the so called entertaining and emotional scenes looked illogical.</p>
<p>Mahi Reddy Pandugula's cinematography is in sync with the story. He showed the scenes in a natural and at the same time colorful as and when required. The songs looked forced and one could have done away with them as they didnot add much value to the proceedings. His background score is as per the story. Dialogues are hilarious and at times emotional. But many are loaded with double meaning. Production values are decent.</p>

<p>Altogether, Hey Balwanth turns out to be a good entertainer. Gopi Atchara on debut tried to entertain viewers and also blend few emotions highlighting the father-son bonding. Though the idea looks good, the story turned predictable, lacked novelty and screenplay is confined only to entertain viewers rather than a gripping narration. He tried to connect the emotional chords of the viewers in the second half, but few scenes are artificial and illogical. This diverse story that is compelling could have been worth a little more work on the script. Considering all these aspects, <strong>Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for Hey Balwanth</strong>.</p>

<p>Power Star Pawan Kalyan who quit films to enter politics as the chief of Jana Sena, now seems to be smitten by films bug once again. He is going on a signing spree lining up numerous projects. Already he is starring in PINK remake Vakeel Saab and will next join hands with Krish for a periodic entertainer.</p><p>Apart from it rumors have it that he gave green signal to Harish Shankar, Puri Jagannadh, Trivikram Srinivas, Jayant C Pranaji and many more directors.</p><p>In the midst of all this, another rumor is floating that Pawan is getting ready for a sequel sensation. It is known that Pawan created a sensation with Tholi Prema in 1998. Tholi Prema turned out to be a cult classic and inside talk is he is readying for the sequel with director Karunakaran.</p><p>Karunakaran according to sources met Pawan Kalyan a couple of days back and narrated a line to him. Pawan asked Karunakaran to develop the line and said he will take the final call. Pawan and Karunarakan last teamed for Balu-ABCDEFG in 2005. However, the film failed to set the screens on fire.</p><p>The question is can Pawan create a sequel sensation on the silver screen. Can Karunakaran convince Pawan with his script?  </p>
