There is no denying the fact that film industry is completely against film reviews. Filmmakers and for that matter anyone doesn't like reviews which come with bitter truth. They will get angry if reviews brand their films as crap.

But the same filmmakers will be happy and go into celebration mode if negative reviews come on other films. However they fire on all cylinders, when the same happens to their own films. Before these double standards, they should put themselves in the shoes of review writers.

Generally review writers do not give reviews on all films. If a film's review appears on various websites, even if it is negative, it is a great thing. The makers should realize that many films donot even make to the website reviews. So, most of filmmakers are coming with such films.

Industry biggies and trade analysts agree that the success rate is just 12-16% and the same applies to the reviews. Only 12-16% films get positive reviews and all others get negative reviews. Under these circumstances, how can review writers heap praises on all the films. If they do so, they will get severe backlash and trolls on social media. That is the reason why 85% of the films get negative reviews.

Few filmmakers are advising that reviews should come after three days or after a week. But for that to happen, the film should be there in theatres after a week. If a flop film gets review after three days, it’s like 'Dongalu Padda Aaru Nelalaku Kukkalu Moriginatlu'.

Some filmmakers are accusing reviewers of landing the industry into losses. But the question is who is plunging the industry into losses with such crap films and who turned people to come to theatres only after going through five websites reviews of a particular film.

Reviewers always heaped praises on filmmakers who came up with good films. Irrespective of reviews, only films with strong content will turn out to be hits at the box office. Rather than attacking review writers, it is better the filmmakers concentrate on strong stories, good scripts etc.
