Mystery Behind Blockbuster Sequel Intensifies

When sequel for Kamal Haasan starrer Bharateeyudu was announced, everyone was super excited. They felt that Shankar and Kamal Haasan can create wonders once again with their powerful take on corruption as they did with the original.

Various rumors spread about Bharateeyudu 2 (Indian 2 in Tamil) getting shelved. Reports came that producers had budget constraints and Kamal Haasan's makeup turned out to be problematic.

But with elections round the corner, many fans felt that Kamal had a break for elections. However with elections completed and no updates from the makers though the film's shooting started six months back, fresh rumors are spreading like a wild fire.

It seems, the problems haven't been resolved and even the filmmakers, Kamal or Shankar is not showing interest in talking about the sequel. This means one can reach a conclusion that the sequel got shelved.

In the midst of all this, reports are coming about Shankar's next film. Earlier it came out that Shankar may team with Ilayadhalapathi Vijay. Then talk of a multi starrer with Vijay and Chiyaan Vikram did rounds. Now inside talk is Shankar is planning a film with Vijay's son Jason and is busy readying a script.

Unless until Shankar clears air, one cannot read what's going on in his mind!
