Super Star Turns Encounter Specialist

Super Star Rajinikanth's upcoming entertainer Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss is the cynosure of all eyes. Rajinikanth is romancing Nayanthara while Nivetha Thomas is playing the role of his daughter in the film for which music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film's leaked photos and the shooting progress in Mumbai went viral on social media. The film unit will wrap up Mumbai schedule in the third week of May and then return to Chennai.

Fans are getting super excited to know that Rajini will be seen as a powerful police officer and also in another role which the makers are maintaining utmost secrecy.

Now sources reveal that Rajini will be seen as an encounter specialist. The source informed, “The film comprises of action, thrill and drama. And Rajiinikanth plays the role of an encounter specialist. The set of main Zero room (Investigation Room) has also been erected in St. Xavier’s College.”

The makers earlier completed shooting at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Royal Palms, and Film City among others. Source went on to add, “There is a body double that performs tough action scenes. Although for lighter action scenes like breaking a table and kicking hard and all that, he does on his own. Leaving no stone unturned, indeed adding his typical mannerisms.”

Singing praises on Rajini's down to earth personality, the source said “Rajinikanth makes it a point to sit down on the same table and relish his breakfast, lunch, and tea with all the technicians,” 

Inside talk is Rajini is taking care of the unit members during Ramzan time. An insider revealed, “Rajinikanth makes it a point to see that all the rozadaars working on the sets of Darbar are given all the essential eatables to break their fast on time.”
