Maharshi: Hat Trick For Mahesh Babu

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s 25th film Maharshi is enjoying a successful run at the theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film successfully crossed the Rs 100 crore share mark worldwide in its opening weekend. For six day of its theatrical run, Maharshi has minted Rs 55.98 crore in Telugu states. 

Maharshi also seems to be having a decent run in USA. The film’s collections on Monday disappointed the buyers, however it witnessed some growth on Tuesday. While it raked $31 K Monday, the film accumulated $ 78K on Tuesday, taking its six days total to  $1.528 Million (Rs 10.5 crore).

Maharshi is the third consecutive film (Spyder, Bharat Ane Nenu) for Mahesh Babu to cross $1.5 million mark and a sixth film overall. His other films to reach the milestone are Dookudu, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Srimanthudu.

Maharshi is a social drama film which addressed the issues and struggles faced by the farmers in our country. Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh played other lead roles in the film directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
