Young Rebel Star Prabhas stole the hearts of all with his captivating performance in Mr Perfect in 2011. The film directed by Dasarath featured Kajal, Taapsee and Prakash Raj and the way human relations and bondings were highlighted, it had mesmerized movie lovers.

But now in a shocker, the Hyderabad Civil Court after hearing the arguments from both the parties, declared that the makers of Mr Perfect copied the story from a novel Naa Manasu Korindi Ninne authored by Shyamala Devi.

Shyamala Devi filed a copyright cast in 2017 and the High Court after hearing the arguments from both sides, came up with the final judgment. Shyamala Devi, speaking to scribes revealed, "Every character from the movie Mr Perfect was from my novel. I tried to contact producer Dil Raju to seek a clarification back then but he wasn't willing to meet me. So I approached court for justice."

The final verdict is yet to be delivered but it already directed the cops to take appropriate action on the filmmakers as per the copyright act. Director Dasaradh, reacting to court judgment however denied anything wrong and claimed that he registered the Mr Perfect script in 2009 with the writers association while Shyamala Devi's novel was published in August 2010.
