Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej has been going through toughest phase in career. Though he attained few hits in initial stages, Tej botched to continue the success streak owing to his poor selection of stories. The Supreme hero pins all hopes on his upcoming flick Chitralahari directed by Kishore Tirumala under Mythri Movie Makers.

Despite SDT’s flop record, Chitralahari has done remarkable pre-release business, thanks to the support from entire mega family. Mega Star Chiranjeevi to Ram Charan, everyone in the mega family is backing SDT in his tough times. In fact, it was Charan who set this project for Tej.

If grapevine is to be believed, Chitralahari theatrical business has been closed for Rs 15 crores. It was a big shock for even trade pundits who predicted the film may not do even 10 Cr business, considering Tej’s six consecutive flops.

Dil Raju has bought Nizam rights, while Vizag and Krishna rights were acquired by Gayatri Devi Films and Crazy Movie Makers respectively. The film is slated for release either on 12th or 26th April.
