Why Vytla Chided Anil Ravipudi?

Super Star Mahesh Babu many times during his interactions with scribes confessed that his biggest mistake in his career was doing films like Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine. Mahesh had high hopes on Sukumar's psychological thriller I-Nenukkadine. But when the film turned out to be a disaster, he at once did a hilarious entertainer Aagadu. But many feel Mahesh did Aagadu with Srinu Vytla out of frustration due to 1-Nenokkadine result.

Aagadu's second half gave sleepless nights to movie lovers scaring them away from the theatres. Still Mahesh fans suffer nightmares of Aagadu. Srinu Vytla came up with similar format in most of his films. Though Aagadu's first half was ok, second half was a big letdown.

Anil Ravipudi who worked as a writer for the film, revealed that he planned Aagadu second half in a different manner but for some reasons did not reveal the same to Srinu Vytla. He said he planned his debut film Pataas second half for Aagadu. He planned to narrate the same to Srinu Vytla but since it was delayed, by that time Aagadu second half started and Vytla went in his own format.

Anil Ravipudi said had he been a bit fast, Pataas second half would have become Aagadu second half and said he always regrets this in his life. He revealed that he did not work for Aagadu second half as he concentrated on Pataas, his debut film which got confirmed by that time. He also revealed that Vytla many times chided him for not concentrating and contributing for Aagadu second half.
