Mudra This Week, Nikhil Too Shocked

The title of young hero Nikhil’s Mudra had to be changed as the title was registered by other producer. As we all know, the film is now called as Nikhil Mudra. However, this is not the first time that Telugu film titles have landed in controversies. 

Earlier, Mahesh Babu starrer Khaleja, Kalyan Ram’s Kathi had to go through a legal hitch as the titles were registered by a different producer. In a bid to overcome the problem, the titles were changed to Mahesh Khaleja and Kalyan Ram Kathi. Makers of Nikhil starrer too did follow the same strategy.

Meanwhile, the film Mudra is releasing this week. As to attract viewers, wrong names and logos were used in the ticketing portals BookMyShow and PayTM. They used Nikhil’s name and his film’s logo to sell many tickets. The actor who came to know this from his followers has informed that his producer wrote a letter to the ticketing portals asking them to remove the names.

Nikhil’s post reads: “Guys My Movie is NOT RELEASING this week... SOME ppl with evil intentions have used the exact SAME LOGO DESIGN nd put MY NAME in the BOOKINGS APP... My Producers are on the case and will  UPDATE u soon with the details.. 

This is disgraceful #Mudra.

Thanks to my Twitter buddies for getting this to my notice... Including the Cast.. Technicians nd my name  in the Movie Bookings is absolute Cheating... NO OUR MOVIE IS NOT RELEASING THIS WEEK... Nonetheless, Twitterati suggest Nikhil to release his film at the earliest as not to face any such issues. The film billed to be an investigative thriller is directed by TN Santosh. Nikhil will be seen as a journalist.
