People generally express anger on RTC for substandard service and non punctuality. However many are praising the organization for presenting top stars to the film industry.

KGF turned out to be a sensational hit in all languages and its hero Yash is now hailed as the genex superstar. Yash's real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda and his father Arun Kumar used to be a driver in KSRTC. Later he got transferred to Karnataka metropolitan department. Yash entered film industry out of passion and now became a crazy star.

Kannada people are drawing comparisons with Shivaji Rao Gaikwad who started his career as a bus conductor before becoming all India super star Rajanikanth.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that, Yash is considered to play antagonist in SS Rajamouli’s multi-starrer film RRR starring mega power star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR. However, no one from the film unit neither denied nor admitted the rumors.
