Peta Producer Predicted a Flop?

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta Telugu version Peta was earlier supposed to hit screens for Sankranthi season. Since a heavy rush of straight Telugu films turns inevitable, team Peta thought of putting their film off to January end. 

But then, Peta Telugu version's producer Ashok Vallabhaneni got his decision changed. He has now decided to release the film on the scheduled release date of January 10 itself. 

It's speculated that Telugu version's producer has taken this daring decision as he thought no one would watch the film if it gets postponed by two or three weeks. He worried about it wouldn't get even prints and publicity cost. 

Sensing the threat the producer has decided to get the film released for Sankranthi season itself. However, Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR and Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej's multi-starrer F2 are carrying enormous hype at the moment. In contrast, Peta carries no buzz. It then remains to be seen how well Peta sustains the heat of straight Telugu films.
