Telugu Producer in Risk with Rajini Film?

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Telugu versions of all films in the recent years including 2.0 tuned flops. The Superstar is all set to be coming up with his latest commercial potboiler Petta. 

Update is that noted Telugu producer C Kalyan acquired Petta Telugu version's rights. The film's release date has been confirmed as January 11, 2019 as a Sankranthi gift for audience. 

However, those movie lovers who have gone through the box office statuses of recent films of Rajini, felt the producer might have risked in acquiring Petta's rights. There is yet another reason, they felt the producer had taken a risk with the project. 

With the reports available, there is a heavy rush for this Sankranthi with crazy Telugu films like Vinaya Vidheya Rama, F2 Fun and Frustration, NTR and Yatra. Obviously, Petta will be affected with straight Telugu films. Moreover, there is a big demand from Tollywood's producers that dubbing films would not be released for Sankrnathi festive season. The producer needs to overcome all these hurdles to ensure Petta released for Sankranthi and would get a success.
