Chiru Failed, What About Devarakonda?

Genex Star Vijay Devarakonda’s success run with Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy, Mahanati, Geetha Govindam, came to a screeching halt with NOTA. When everyone felt that, Vijay would fall down; he changed gears with Taxiwala and is now on a mission to defeat none other than Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

Mythri Movie Makers are planning a film with Vijay Devarakonda. They are planning to name the film as Hero. Currently pre production is underway and the makers will announce the director and cast and crew details in the coming days.

Now speculation is on whether Vijay Devarakonda can score a hit turning Hero. This because three decades back Chiranjeevi starred in a film titled Hero. The film directed by Vijaya Baapineedu was produced by Allu Aravind. The makers drew inspiration from Hollywood film Indiana Jones first part-The raiders of the lost arc directed by Speilsberg. However the film failed at the box office.

Later Nitin too starred in a film titled Hero in 2008 with actor GV Sudhakar Naidu directing it. Even that film left without a trace. Under these circumstances, all eyes are on Vijay Devarakonda and his Heroic acts.
