Balakrishna: A Great Actor

Ever since Mega Brother Nagababu remembered and praised yesteryears comedian Valluri Balakrishna aka Anji gadu, super senior fans of Telugu film industry are seen thanking Nagababu. They had nostalgic with Nagababu's praises on Balakrishna and have felt it was a fitting tribute of Nagababu on Balakrishna. 

Balakrishna became popular comedian with his most famous Anji Gadu role in 1951's Pathala Bhairavi. Especially, his typical laughing style in the film became highly popular. Balakrishna acted as many as 100 films. He played significant roles in Maya Bazaar, Guruvunu Minchina Shishyudu, Appu Chesi Pappu Koodu and Pelli Chesi Choodu. 

Another comedian of Tollywood, Rajababu, was inspired by Balakrishna and would imitate the latter's performance. Right now, many comedians are ruling the roost of their careers in Tollywood. At this moment, it would be a sensible move to remember legendary comedians like Balakrishna.
