Newlywed Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh completed their wedding celebrations with a reception thrown in for their friends from the film industry recently on December 1. Overall, it was their third reception party since they got married in Italy’s picturesque Lake Como on November 14 and 15. The other two receptions were held in Bengaluru on November 21 and in Mumbai on November 28th.

Although the couple concluded their wedding celebrations, they still grab all the attention. While Deepika Padukone’s GQ cover page pictures went viral and she was announced as highest earning female actor in India, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba trailer got tremendous response from Bollywood audience, though south audience didn’t like it as Ranveer couldn’t match to the performance of young tiger NTR in the original- Temper.

Interim, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas married twice with an amalgamation of Indo-Western cultures. They had a Christian wedding on Saturday officiated by Nick's father Kevin Jonas Sr., and a traditional Hindu marriage the following day.

The couple arranged a grand reception at the Taj Palace in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the high-profile guests at the wedding reception of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

While Deepika – Ranveer’s wedding was the most talked about in the industry, Priyanka – Nick’s wedding didn’t get much attention. Moreover, Priyanka landed in controversy for fireworks at her wedding.

It is known that, Priyanka Chopra, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, rooted for a cracker free Diwali and better quality air in many campaigns. In one of those, she even declared that she is asthmatic and appealed to people to celebrate Diwali with “lights and laddoos and love, and not pollution”.
