Shankar and Rajinikanth's 2.0 is undoubtedly the biggest movie of 2018. The film gives us variety of the big-hearted awesomeness in the science-fiction space. From the moment Pakshi Raja played by Akshay Raja enters the screen; Shankar unleashes one ambitious idea after another.

The magnitude of these ideas certainly demands a 3D viewing, as 2D doesn't do justice to the wide-range visual effects. Most importantly, critics as well as those who watched the film on day one recommended everyone to watch the film in 3D format to enjoy VFX to the fullest.

2.0 was released in record number theaters across the world. The film had huge release in Telugu than Tamil. The makers poor planning affected opening collections and the film is not picking up in B, C centers like how it witnessed growth in A centers from day two.

2.0 is screening in 2D in most of the B, C centers which is the reason for its poor performance there. Due to huge demand for 3D format, 2.0 is exceptional in urban areas.

Observers opine that, Shankar did the right thing by making the film in 3D format or else the regular contest would not have amused the audience. The moment Superstar Rajinikanth’s title card rolled in style in 3D, a positive opinion was developed!
