T-Wood Next Level with These Period Films

Have Tollywood's filmmakers aimed at next level? Are they looking forward celluloid wonders? All at once, some top heroes and producers wooed visual extravaganzas with whopping budget estimations. 

Firstly, it was Megastar Chiranjeevi who took the cue from Baahubali and gave nod for Tollywood's costliest film Sye Raa Narasimhareddy. The film, which is being made with Rs.200 crores budget, has a business potential of Rs.350 crores. As we all know, the film's story is based on the life of the first freedom fighter of India, Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy. Surender Reddy helms this magnificent venture under Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Konidela Production Company.

And then, number one director Rajamouli, himself, was bitten by the bug of a period entertainer. Yes, his next offing #RRR, starrerd by Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR, is being made as a period entertainer with pre independence backdrop. 

We are hearing the reports that Young Rebel Star Prabhas and director Radhakrishna Kumar's film is also going to be a period entertainer with post independence backdrop. 

And the latest we hear is that Prince Mahesh Babu also has okayed for a period entertainer with post independence backdrop. Sukumar, who delivered industry hit Rangasthalam, is currently penning script and the film will go on sets soon. 

Having gone through all the big ventures listed above, a striking common feature is connected with all the films. All films are interlinked with Indian Independence backdrop. But then, which director can carve the Independence backdrop the better is to be watched only after release of all the films.
