RGV's NTR: No Takers!

Long back, director Ram Gopal Varma was supposed to direct late NTR's biopic with Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna as the hero. However, the movie was not materialized as Balakrishna chickened out of the project. 

Fumed out by Balakrishna's turning down the project, Rgv hurriedly announced Lakshmi's NTR. Further, he divulged that he would be showcasing the true story of NTR post his second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi. 

It was then thought that Rgv would really be sincere in wielding the megaphone for the project. In the meanwhile, Balakrishna roped in director Krish and is busy wrapping up NTR's biopics NTR-Kathanayakudu and NTR-Mahanayakudu. 

Rgv, however, maintained deafening silence for the past couple of months without making any attempts to direct Lakshmi's NTR. It was then assumed that the project was shelved. 

Nonetheless, Rgv has been back again with the same announcement of directing Lakshmi's NTR. But then, it seems there have been no takers for his announcement as the director is inconsistent and irresponsible with his previous announcements. Had he really been adamant in completing the project, he would have taken it to the sets long ago. As such, Rgv's latest announcement is taken light by cine folks. 

However, it is rumoured that YSRCP is backing Lakshmi's NTR to ensure the film is a counter to NTR-Mahanayakudu in which all lies would be shown on NTR's political life. If at all YSRCP's support to Lakshmi's NTR is proven right, Rgv can wrap the film up without facing any hiccups.
