Till sometime back, directors never used to think of showing their heroes having any abnormality. However of late, they changed their style and while Bobby showed NTR with a disability of stammer in Jai Lava Kusa, Sukumar showed Ram Charan as a hearing impaired person in Rangasthalam.

Darsakendrudu Raghavendra Rao speaking about his generation said during those days none could dare to show their heroes in such abnormal manner. He said heroes star image used to become an obstacle. He said Sukumar turned Ram Charan's role in Rangasthalam in a beautiful manner and he wouldn't have got such idea to show Ram Charan as a deaf person. “Hats Off to Ram Charan for accepting the role,” said KRR.

Raghavendra Rao introduced many heroes on Tollywood screen and he always tried to show them in the best possible manner. He said Venkatesh came from US to test his luck as hero. “Though Venkatesh was tensed in the beginning, he worked hard and learned Telugu. I tried my best to show him in the most heroic manner,” affirmed KRR.

Raghavendra Rao continued saying he always tried to elevate the heroism of newcomers in such a way that they can do anything on screen. He stated he took lot of care in case of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun and penned their roles considering their age and looks.
