Taxiwala Release In Geetha Hands

Hero image or brand of the director plays an important role in promoting a film. Vijay Devarakonda who became the heartthrob of genex movie lovers with his powerful performance in Arjun Reddy is not seen on silver screen for quite some time. Though he did few cameos, people are waiting eagerly to see his power.

His upcoming entertainer Geetha Govindam is slated for a grand release on Aug 15. The film’s song Inkem Kavale and the teaser generated tremendous interest among movie lovers. However his other film Taxiwala should have been released ahead of Geetha Govindam. Taxiwala’s first look, teaser and promo videos were released longtime back but the makers surprisingly sidelined it.

Even Vijay Devarakonda’s fans completely forgot Taxiwala and fell in love with Geetha Govindam. Sources say two master brains are behind this strategy. They are Allu Aravind and Vijay Devarakonda. Though Bunny Vass is the producer for Geetha Govindam, Allu Aravind is presenting the film as he locked Parasuram as the director. 

Allu Aravind has partnership in Taxiwala too as he produced the film along with UV banner. Buzz is since Taxiwala output is not satisfactory under debutante Sakartiyan; the makers are planning to go ahead with Geetha Govindam and then do away with Taxiwala business rights riding on Geetha Govindam’s hype. 

Had Taxiwala hit the screens earlier and flopped, then they would have been forced to part away with Geetha Govindam rights for lower rates. Taxiwala will release within one month if Geetha Govindam turns out to be a hit.
