Even Rajamouli Offers, Mahesh Won’t Do

Mahesh Babu who started entertaining since his childhood as the son of Super Star Krishna made rapid strides on Tollywood silver screen. He carried over the mantle of Super Star from his dad Krishna and became the top star in Tollywood. 

Mahesh who stole the hearts of all as Prince with his handsome looks and charming personality started breaking all box office records with his powerful performances. He unlocked the overseas markets with his grace and then others started following him. Even his below average films enter into million dollar club in overseas. Such is his power in overseas that mere chanting of his name will do wonders. 

However despite all this many are of the impression that Mahesh is scared of making this bold move. It is known that ever since he created sensation with Pokiri, speculation increased on Mahesh's Bollywood entry. Many felt that many of his films will be dubbed in Bollywood or have simultaneous releases. 

Rumours spread that Mahesh's wife, former Miss India Namrata Shirodkar is planning her hubby's Bollywood intro in a never seen before manner using her contacts there. Fans and movie lovers too got excited but nothing of that sorts happened. 

This surprised many as his contemporaries like Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Rebel Star Prabhas entered into Bollywood. While Ram Charan tasted a disaster with the remake of Zanjeer, Prabhas created sensation with the Hindi version of Baahubali. He is also planning his next Saaho to be a trilingual entertainer. Even hot Hunk Rana made his Bollywood entry after doing just two films. What is hurting Mahesh fans the most is even his brother in law Sudheer Babu made his Bollywood debut with Bhaagi. 

Many say the fear of failure is holding Mahesh Babu to make that bold move of entering Bollywood. When Ram Charan announced his Bollywood debut, he did contemplate of making his entry into Bollywood but waited for the result of Cherry's debut. But with Cherry's debut turning out to be the disaster and later the same thing happened with Pawan Kalyan's Sardar Gabbar Singh after Prabhas' Baahubali's sensation, he shelved his Bollywood dreams. Many feel he is of the opinion that he need not to come out of his comfort zone and run chasing Bollywood dreams when many south stars failed to make a mark except for few exceptions. 

Mahesh is known for not taking any risks and play safe and this increased after his experiments like 1-Nenokkadine bombed at the box office. Everyone knows his aversion to don lungis and also flaunt his bare chest like Prabhas, Ram Charan and Rana. So one feels even if Rajamouli offers him a role like Baahubali or a role in his dream project Mahabharat, he may not do it as he is very shy of flaunting his abs.
