Why Telugu Actress Is Neglected?

Tollywood often faces criticism for neglecting the local talent and considering Telugu heroines only after they achieve success in other languages. Many Telugu girls faced this situation and Anjali is no exception for this.

Filmmakers who neglected Anjali after she starred in few Telugu films, had later run after her, following her stellar performance in Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh's multi starrer Seethamma Vakilto Sirimalle Chettu. 

Anjali stole the hearts of all in a bubbly role. Many predicted bright future for Anjali but after she attracted in few films like GeetAnjali, is now seen nowhere in Tollywood.

When asked why Anjali is neglecting Tollywood, she said she never left Tollywood but the industry neglected her. She said she is ready to do Telugu films if she gets good roles but for some reason, she is not getting any offers here.

Fortunately, Anjali got the opportunity to star in superstar Rajinikanth’s untitled film in Karthik Subbaraj’s direction. She will next be seen opposite Vijay Antony in Kaasi.
