Despite getting positive response from critics, Bharat Ane Nenu that raked record openings has botched to continue the momentum. Siva who is a good writer provided winning subjects for other directors and for himself has failed as director when it comes to dealing BAN. He failed to make the film that has shades of Oke Okkadu and Leader engagingly, as there were many boring scenes, especially in second half.

Coming to Naa Peru Surya, director Vakkantham Vamsi is a proven writer made his directorial debut with the film. Though Allu Arjun is flooded with appreciations for his performance as military man, sluggish narration and lack of elements played spoilsport. It is actually good story with good message.

Nonetheless, Vamsi who doesn’t have any experience in filmmaking has failed to handle the heavy subject in his very first film. His inexperience is visible in many places.

And the summer’s biggest hit Rangasthalam directed by Sukumar was made of an ordinary and regular subject. It’s a usual revenge drama film with high emotions.

Rangasthalam is definitely the best film for Ramcharan who lived in the role of a hearing impaired. Each and every artist and technician worked for the film gave their best.

However, director Sukumar should be given maximum credit for making an ordinary subject, extraordinary because of his taking. Although the subject is not unique, Sukumar made it appear like a fresh subject because of engaging and emotional story-telling.

All in all in this summer, two writers- Koratala Siva and Vakkantham Vamsi failed to convince audience, wherein director Sukumar passed in distinction.
