Has Pro TDP print and electronic media lost its power, authority and command over AP state politics? The golden moments of the pro TDP media were witnessed during 2009 and 2014 general elections.

Did you remember? When Megastar Chiranjeevi floated Prajarajyam party in 2008, pro TDP media gave wider coverage and good boost to the party for a few days. Afterwards, the media started showing its real colours. The media spilled venom on every aspect of the party. While, hours of discussion programs were aired to slam PRP's alleged blunders, newspapers would publish hatred filled lengthy articles in first pages against PRP. As a result, PRP faced a defeat in 2009's general elections.

And today, there is no PRP. Instead, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Janasena is in existence. As usually, pro TDP media has been on duty to sling mud on Janasena. Strangely, leaving a shocker to everyone, the media, hardly, create any impact on Janasena. Following are said to be the key factors pro TDP media's losing out it with Janasena

* Social media was not in existence those days. As such, People would blindly follow only newspapers and TV channels and would innocently believed their words.

* Chiranjeevi would maintain deadly soft stand on oppositions. There were no counters for the allegations on PRP. On the contrary, Pawan Kalyan is making shocking allegations on top leaders like Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh which made yellow media too gone panic. Perhaps, Pawan Kalyan may not swerve to put a blame on one or two yellow media heads who live on TDP merely.

* TDP was also one of the opposition parties then. Hence, the party faced no corruption charges. In contrast, TDP happens to be the ruling party of AP at the moment.  Moreover, most of its ministers and MLAs indulged in corruption. Automatically, Janasena got a powerful weapon to throw a blame on TDP. Chiranjeevi got no such opportunity that Janasena had it now.

* Chiranjeevi let dangerous coverts like Parakala Prabhakar, Kesineni Nani entered the party. They damaged the party so badly. Sensing such threat of coverts Power Star, even today, hasn't let anyone to dominate the party to the core. Pawan Kalyan will be more careful in appointing leaders in the party who don't do any damage to the party.

* Right now, a sort of frustration is very clearly seen by some media heads with Pawan Kalyan's sensational rebellion on TDP. All in all, pro TDP media is better maintained a neutral stand to gain some respect and credibility among the people.
