Caste Bias: Railway Zone to Shift to Vijayawada?

Vizag stands not only the best and beautiful city of AP but also stands one of the most sought after cities of India to live in. As a matter of fact, Vizag was thought be selected the capital city of residual state of AP in 2014. 

Leaving a shocker to everyone, three crop yielding land Amaravati was chosen the capital. Opposition parties alleged that the government's caste bias led such a historical blunder done to AP for wrong selection of capital. On the other hand, geologists stamped it as an earthquake prone area while pedologists said the soil should be dug more deeper than soils of other areas  for a strong basement.

It has been a long time dream for Vizag people to get special railway zone to the area. Accordingly, they have been protesting for the same cause along with left parties and others. The union government was also said to be keen to announce special railway zone to Vizag two years ago. However, some media reports then divulged that the AP government had forced the union government to get the railway zone shifted from Vizag to Vijayawada. Since there appeared a turbulence to be resorted by Vizag people, both AP and union governments dropped the idea of shifting railway zone. 

Once again, rumours are floating around that the railway zone would be shifted to Vijayawada. If at all the same is reinforced, the AP government stands as a betrayer for Vizag area, which is also considered one of the backward areas of AP. Let's see whether the gossips are put to rest announcing railway zone to Vizag or not.
