Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavasi carried negative reports on the day one of its release. Obviously, the dip in collections must have been recorded on day two and so were the collections accordingly.
As we know, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's Jai Simha hit the screens today and received mixed reports among the movie lovers. Shockingly, most of the screens in A centres couldn't recorded full houses even for 1st and 2nd shows today.
According to cine trade experts there is a valid reason for Agnyathavasi and Jai Simha accumulating below par collections. According to them, second week of January prior to Bhogi festival is considered to be deadly un-season for films. The collections dhamaka for films really gets started from Bhogi. Until then, even crazy projects suffer poor collections. Since most of the people are busy shopping for purchasing Sankranthi festival related goods, they don't prefer watching films in this week. Both Agnyathavasi and Jai Simha are hoped to mint good money during the festive season.
