'Akhil' Criminal Case Quashed

Lover Boy Nithin and his sister Nikitha Reddy got huge relief from High Court when court quashed the criminal case against them.  

G. Satyanarayana slapped a criminal case in Malkajgri Court accusing Nithin, Nikita, Sudhakar Reddy and Sreshth Movies of taking Rs 50 lakhs from him and promising the rights of Akhil's film Akhil The Power of Jua. He alleged that they cheated him by not returning his money after failing to provide him with the film's rights. 

Judge after hearing the case sent notices to the trio. Nithin and Nikitha approached High Court seeking to quash case against them. 

Senior Lawyer Niranjan Reddy arguing on behalf of Nithin, Nikitha said that the dispute is regarding cheques which falls under civil case and questioned how a criminal case could be filed against his clients. Justice M. Satyanarayna Murthy after hearing the argument quashed the criminal case.
