Mega Films Business Worth 700 Crores?

According to a study by the trade people, Tollywood's upcoming films business is worth of beween Rs.1500 crores and Rs.2000 crores. Interestingly, Mega Heroes have a lion share of Rs.700 crores with their films.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's historical magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimhareddy is expected to do the business around Rs.300 crores. Having roped in crazy cast and crew from Bollywood, Tollywood and other woods, team Sye Raa ensured that the movie would be a pan Indian film. 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi has done Rs.150 crores business which is an all time record among single language Telugu films till now. The movie hits the screens for Sankranthi season.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India may also do business between Rs.100 crores and Rs.150 crores. 

Mega Prince Varun Tej's forthcoming film Tholiprema can easily surpass the mark of Rs.20 crores business while Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's Dharma Bhai (tentative) is likely to do Rs.30 crores business. And last but not the least, mega hero Allu sirish's Okkakshanam is doing Rs.15 crores business. On a whole, the business of mega films can easily breach Rs.700 crores mark.
