Chiru and Rajini Real Superstars: Mahesh

Long back, Prince Mahesh Babu gave a bold statement that Megastar Chiranjeevi was the last number one hero of Tollywood. And the superstar has come up with yet another bold statement which showcases his modesty and down to earth nature. 

On the occasion of Spyder film's release this week, Mahesh Babu attended media interviews. When a leading Telugu newspaper's journo asked him, "Fans call you superstar. According to you, who is the real superstar?" Mahesh Babu humbly replied, "Our country has big stars. Chiranjeevi garu and Rajinikanth garu are real superstars. Irrespective of the movie's fate, people go to theatres to watch their films. I opine that cinema is bigger than the star."

Speaking about his fans, Mahesh had a shower of praises on their frankness. "If they feel my film is not good, they advise the audience to stay away from my film and then they watch the movie in theatres."

Meanwhile, Mahesh said that Spyder falls into the category of Ghajini and Thuppaki made by AR Murugadoss previously. He further explained how hard it was performing for Telugu and Tamil simultaneously in this bilingual film. Mahesh himself lent his voice for Tamil version and had to spend 18 days to complete Tamil dubbing of the movie. 

Spyder is hitting across the globe in record number of centers on September 27.
