Santosham: Chaitu the Best Actor

Naga Chaitanya walked away with the best actor award for his performance in Premam at the 15th Santosham South Indian Awards ceremony held in Hyderabad yesterday. This sparkling event was graced by many stars and celebs from the industry and politicians. 

Interestingly,  Chaitu's fiancee Samantha was given away the best actress award for her performance in A..Aa. Speaking about this, Chaitu said Samantha's house was full of awards and his award too would be one among them. 

Boyapati Srinu won the best director award for Sarrainodu while Raj Kandukuri was honoured with best producer award for Pelli Choopulu. 

Mega Producer Allu Aravind, Murali Mohan and Paruchuri Brothers won Dasari Narayana Rao memorial award, introduced in the awards ceremony this year. 

Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who attended the event as a chief guest, assured that the government would solve the issues being faced by TFI. He lauded Suresh Kondeti for organizing the award function successfully for the past 15 years.
