2017: First Half Hit Films

Following is the list of Hit Films of Tollywood in the first half (January to June) of 2017. 

INDIA'S SECOND BIGGEST HIT: Having collected Rs.1650 crores gross and around Rs.750 crores share with all of its versions world wide, Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 stood as an all time second biggest grosser of India.

INDUSTRY HIT: Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback film Khaidi Number 150 stood as an industry hit among single language films in Tollwood till date. The film collected a share of close to Rs.106 crores.

BLOCKBUSTERS: Sharwanand's Shatamanam Bhavati was made with a shoestring budget. Yet the film amassed Rs.30 crores and stood as the blockbuster. Natural Star Nani's Nenu Local became the biggest grosser for the hero thus it registered blockbuster at the box office.

SUPER HITS: Having collected around Rs.70 crores share, DJ Duvvada Jagannadham is still running in theatres. Moreover, the film's Kerala collections should also be added.  At the end of its full run, the film is likely to achieve blockbuster status. Rana's Ghazi was not only a super hit but was acclaimed by critics. Naga Chaitanya's family entertainer Raarandoyi Veduka Chooddam also scored a super hit. 

HIT: Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's historical entertainer Gauthamiputra Satakarni collected close to Rs.50 crores and falls under hit category.

AVERAGES: Hero Nikhil's Keshava got above average status while Victory Venkatesh's Guru and Indraganti's Ami Thumi stood as averages.
