Big B Not a Prez, But GST Ambassador

At a certain phase previously, it was immensely buzzed that Big B Amitabh Bachchan would be made as the next President of India. Since Amitabh had good association with the PM and other BJP's top brass, BJP might have thought of making him the first citizen of India. Thereafter, several other names such as Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Daupadi Murmu were considered for President of India. 

Finally, leaving a surprise to everyone and all, the BJP government has decided to rope in Bihar governor and Dalit leader Ramnadh Kovind as its presidential candidate. Interestingly, on the same day of the announcement of Ramnadh as the NDA's presidential candidate was made, the party chose Amitabh as the brand ambassador of union government's revolutionary tax system GST. 

A 40-second video featuring Amitabh Bachchan has already been shot and is being circulated. As the Ministry of Finance mentioned GST - An initiative to create a unified national market and so is the message to be conveyed by Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan's fans, though, were disappointed with the star not being chosen as the President, they are confident that the legendary hero would be honoured with other respectable posts by BJP sarkar.

Meanwhile, Amitabh has been succeeded by PV Sindhu as GST ambassador.
