BB 2 & Dangal 1000 Cr. Club: Chronological Doubt!

Undoubtedly, Rajamouli's visual extravaganza 'Baahubali 2' scripted a new history on Indian cinema breaching Rs.1000 crores gross mark world wide and stood as the first film ever to have achieved this feat. 

And recently, Bollywood's superstar Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' was released in China and scored a staggering success minting Rs.213 crores by Friday. With this tremendous success, the movie's cumulative collections will be zoomed up to Rs.1000+ crores by this weekend. 

To sum up, Baahubali 2 became the first film to have crossed Rs.1000 crores and 'Dangal' stands next in the overall tally. However, according to the chronological order, 'Dangal' was released first and 'Baahubali 2' the next. Citing this as a reason, some of the observers suspected if 'Dangal' would be treated as the first Rs.1000 crores film based on its first release. Rubbishing those doubts, analysts made it clear that 'Baahubali 2' had already entered history books collecting Rs.1000 crores gross the first and no one could erase that record from history.
