Social media is a relatively new advancement in technology. It has its merits as well as demerits. As most number of TV and print media in Telugu states turned biased towards political parties, common man found social media a weapon to express his views on various issues.

However, political bullying and satires on celebs pained some of the celebs of Telugu states. A couple of years ago, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna was trolled by some online media houses. Balakrishna, however, couldn't take the issue light and lodged a complaint against those media at CCS police.

Co-incidentally, Balakrishna's son-in-law Nara Lokesh has also been trolled by netigens who commented on the blunders of his speeches. But then, the TDP Government took the issue seriously, and got a journo arrested today, who ridiculed Nara Lokesh.

Having gone through these happenings it was felt that netizens should be constructive and shouldn't go overboard with their criticism on politicians. If at all they exhibit balanced attitude and develop wisdom on what to do and what not to do, social media really will turn a bless in disguise for their opinions.

On the other hand, politicians and other celebs should not overreact on social media's criticisms. Their reactoin is understood that they are threatened by social media. Admitted that they have been continuously being flattered by their own media houses. However, they must accustom to face criticism from anti media and common men too.
