Super Star Rajinikanth and director Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0 is in a legal coup. The film is into final leg, shooting pivotal scenes at a temple in Triplicane. Generally, Shankar keeps his shoot locations and other details confidential taking numerous precautionary measures.

This time too, 2.0 production team hired a bunch of bouncers to keep common audience out of reach from the temple where shoot is currently held so that working stills aren’t leaked out.

However, two of the photographers from a leading newspaper reportedly arrived at the spot to take the snap shots. When bouncers stopped, despite introducing themselves as media folks, situation led to a heated argument and a scuffle. One of the photographer is injured severely with leaving the mouth bleeded.

Shocked by the behavior of 2.0 production team, photographers lodged a complaint with Police. Jumping into action, cops took film’s assistant director Pappu who happens to be the son of Shankar’s elder sister into custody and registered the case. It is yet to be known whether the shooting is halted or continuing at the same temple?
