Shock: Pawan Gets 51 Cr. with Katamarayudu?

This is a real big shocker to those who follow Telugu movie trade updates. If the ongoing buzz is to be believed, Power Star Pawan Kalyan pocketed Rs.51 crores with 'Katamarayudu'. According to a buzz, makers have spent just Rs.30 crores in making excluding Pawan Kalyan's remuneration. 

Luckily, movie is reported to have done a pre release business worth Rs.115 crores which includes theatrical, satellite, dubbing, audio, video and digital rights. As such, the sum of profits earned by makers could be around Rs.85 crores.

However according to prior commitments, Pawan Kalyan should get 60% of profits. In such scenario, Power Star can easily pocket Rs.51 crores, which is a new all time record remunerations in Tollywood.

Meanwhile, 'Katamarayudu' is geared up for a humongous release on March 24. As reported, the film is hitting in 3000+ screens world wide. Dolly has directed the movie on Sharrat Marar's Northstar Entertainment. Shruti Haasan played love interest of Pawan Kalyan.
