Prior to the decamp of Chiranjeevi from industry ten years ago, he ruled TFI as a number one star for 24 years. Now that there has been no replacement for his position for the past ten years and the Megastar again showed his domination at the box office with 'Khaidi Number 150, he automatically retained number one position which makes him holding the numero uno position for the never heard longest period of 34 years.

At this juncture, critics also recalled Chiranjeevi getting the highest remuneration of Rs.1.25 crores of India for 'Apadbhandhavudu' in 1992. With such instances, whenever a North Indian talked about the Telugu industry, Chiranjeevi turned out to be his reference. Late top director of South India Balachander issued a bold statement that goes as, 'Chiranjeevi is the combo of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan'. Having witnessed the breathtaking success of 'Khaidi Number 150', senior movie lovers have felt golden days are back to Tollywood.
