Chiru Score Reaches 8 IHs, 4 Second Biggest Hits!

Scoring an all time industry hit or second biggest hit of all time is one of the toughest jobs for any star hero. There are numerous stars in the industry who do not have a single industry hit in spite of having decades of seniority. Megastar Chiranjeevi, however, scored 8 industry hits in his career, a never heard feat from any other hero.

What is an industry hit?: A movie that breaks world wide full run collection records of previous industry hit is called an industry hit. And the film that occupies second position in world wide collections at the time of its release is termed as 'All Time Second Biggest Grosser of Tollywood'. 

'Khaidi', 'Pasivadi Pranam', 'Yamudiki Mogudu',  'Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu', 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari', 'Gang Leader', 'Gharana Mogudu' and 'Indra' were the 8 industry hits delivered by Chiranjeevi. 

In addition to above films Chiranjeevi's 'Master', 'Choodalani Vundhi' and 'Tagore' minted huge money at the box office and stood as all time second biggest grossers at the time of respective periods of their releases. And now, Chiranjeevi's latest offing 'Khaidi Number 150' has emerged as the fourth film of Chiranjeevi which got all time second biggest grosser status. Incidentally, no other hero has four second biggest grossers either, in his professional career!
