Balakrishna's highly ambitious project 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' was critically acclaimed. The movie got blockbuster result at US box office and got a decent hit in Telugu states. Sharwanand, once again hit the bulls eye with 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. And lastly, R Narayana Murthy's 'Head Constable Venkatramayya' was lauded by the critics for the daring attempt of the people's star releasing the movie amidst big films.
