Shatamanam Bhavati Village Missed It

Sharwanand's 'Shatamanam Bhavati' turned as yet another decent hit for the young hero. The movie has been made as a clean family entertainer with village backdrop. The makers have opted for Atreyapuram village of East Godavari district as the backdrop of their movie.

Like many other villages of Godavari districts, Atreyapuram also looks beautiful having green paddy fields, coconut trees, ponds with full of water, canals etc. People and their houses here reflect true cultures and traditions of Telugu people. And the director made no mistake capturing the beauty of the village. 

However, the director seems to have made a mistake. Atreyapuram is famous for the mouth watering sweet 'Pootha Rekulu'. Many people are seen making 'Pootha Rekulu' in this village. These delicious sweets are exported even to abroad. Had the director shown making of Pootha Rekulu, it would have been an apt gesture by the the team. Anyways, team 'SB' has gone elated with the success of the film.
